Meet Bigleaf’s New Southeast Channel Sales Manager

This week, we’re thrilled to welcome Eric Perreault to the Bigleaf team as our new Channel Sales Manager for the Southeast (AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, GA, FL). Eric has 20 years of experience in the industry, most working in the telecommunications channel as a Channel Manager. He will be a valuable resource for our partners and customers alike.

Eric grew up in Maine and graduated from the University of Southern Maine before moving to the Florida area. In 2001, he started with Windstream Communications where he built a career in channel sales for over 13 years. Throughout his career, he has won awards for his dedication to the sales channel and ability to execute.

Now in 2019, his transition to the SD-WAN space comes from his experience watching technologies evolve over his robust career. His knowledge and expertise in the industry speak to what SD-WAN has to offer.

We hope you’ll join us in welcoming Eric to the team. If you’re headquartered in AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, GA, or FL. you can reach Eric through our sales email (sales@bigleaf.net). In the meantime, you can learn a little more about Eric in the Q&A below.

Q: What is your background/where do you come from?

A: The majority of my career has been spent as a Channel Manager in the telecommunications industry. I have been responsible for leveraging agent relationships to increase revenue and educating partners on emerging technologies. Most of my years were with Windstream Communications, and most recently with Verizon.

Q: What made you interested in joining the SD-Wan market?

A: I have a robust knowledge of the technologies that have transformed over the course of the last 20 years, as I have seen many changes happen as it pertains to technology within these roles. SD-WAN is top of mind for many if not all growing businesses and I am eager to be at the forefront of this specific digital transformation. I look forward to the opportunity to expand on the voice and data space I am used to and into a more technology-driven role.

Q: What interested you in Bigleaf Networks?

A: I was drawn to Bigleaf because I believe in the service that we are selling. But most importantly I trust in the core values that the company holds and the simplicity of the solution Bigleaf has created. I believe we are able to deliver a powerful technology with peace of mind and ease of use. This makes Bigleaf a company and a product I am excited to stand beside.

Q: What is one thing you would want to know about you?

A: One thing I would want someone to know about me is I believe in honesty & integrity and have made a conscious effort to prove that in my career. I work to always do right by my partners and my employer and look forward to the opportunity to do so at Bigleaf.

Q: Where do you live?

A: Born and raised in Maine, I moved to the Daytona Beach area in 1998 and have stayed there since.

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do besides work?

A: When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family on the water, traveling when I am able, trying out local breweries and playing ice hockey with my buddies.
