Bigleaf Networks Launches Multi-Gigabit Bandwidth Packages

BEAVERTON, OR, March 11, 2020 — Bigleaf Networks today announced a set of increased bandwidth packages designed to help companies address growing bandwidth demands driven by the ongoing shift to the cloud and network-hungry voice and video applications. The new packages increase the maximum bandwidth of Bigleaf’s SD-WAN service from 1Gbps up to 3Gbps.

The new multi-gigabit packages include a new larger router with an expansion slot capable of supporting four 10Gbps SFP+ Flex ports, as well as a new set of 10G switches for the company’s high availability cloud SD-WAN package.

“We’ve built a platform that solves the needs of hundreds of thousands of businesses,” said Jonathan Petkevich, Director of Product Management, Bigleaf Networks. “This has been a segment of the market that has been continually underserved with bandwidth options below 1Gbps. With the introduction of these new multi-gigabit bandwidth packages, small and mid-size enterprises can now take advantage of higher throughput to scale their operations more quickly and confidently.”

Over the past two years, Bigleaf has become a recognized innovator in the SD-WAN market, adding powerful administration and configuration capabilities to its products, introducing self provisioning, and building out an aggressive partner and channel program. With its new multi-gigabit packages, Bigleaf’s ease-of-setup, same IP failover, and outside-the-firewall-install capabilities bring what they’ve done for small companies to businesses with increased bandwidth needs, such as as large offices with growing cloud application and voice/video demands.
