Greg has served on the Bigleaf Networks’ board of directors since 2020. He has a consistent track record scaling businesses and creating enterprise value through revenue growth, operational performance, and strategic acquisitions. Greg’s technology leadership career spans more than 25 years, where he has led multiple companies from start up to over $100 million in annual revenue. Prior to Bigleaf, Greg served as COO at HungerRush, a national leader in hospitality software. Prior to HungerRush, Greg spent eight years as EVP of Sales at Alert Logic, where he led sales, marketing, and other key area of the business.
Tim brings over 25 years of financial leadership in the tech sector, where he has driven growth and operational excellence across organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Before joining Bigleaf, Tim was CFO at HealthAxis Group, where he led financial transformation initiatives. Prior to that, he led finance for the Americas at cloud-based software leader QAD Inc., where he helped increase subscription revenue by 9x. His leadership roles also include t4 Spatial, Cardinal Fresh, and Davies, with early experience at Lockheed Martin. Tim holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson and a bachelor’s from Westmont College. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, sailing, and outdoor adventures with his family.
Lori has nearly 20 years of experience in creating innovative digital marketing strategies for B2B tech companies. Prior to joining Bigleaf, she led Marketing for Punchh, the leading digital loyalty platform for restaurants and retailers. As a result of rapid growth and accelerated brand equity, Punchh was acquired in 2021 for $500M by PAR Technology, where Lori went on to lead marketing for the PAR portfolio of solutions. She has spent most of her career in the unified communications and customer experience industries, leading and scaling marketing strategy for tech innovators like Talkdesk, Vonage, and Genesys.
David Idle joins Bigleaf from Verizon, where he was the Chief Product Officer and Executive Director for SMB, managing the commercialization of 4G and 5G technologies in the small business and mid-market segments. In a dual role, Dave was also general manager of Yahoo Small Business until its sale in 2021. Dave previously held leadership positions at Web.com, XO Communications, and Sprint, where he drove profitable revenue growth through the development of new products and sales strategies.
John joined Bigleaf in 2015 as VP of Partner Sales and led Bigleaf’s initial channel strategy and sales team growth. In 2021, John was named VP of Technical Support, and he now serves as VP of Operations. Before Bigleaf, John held a variety of leadership positions in sales and operations at several telecom companies, including Level 3, Comcast, and Qwest Communications. John is a licensed attorney with a J.D. from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College.
Before joining Bigleaf, Dave led several teams on the development of embedded, application, and web software products at L3Harris Technologies. Dave holds a B.S. in computer and systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. in software engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Morgan is a human resources professional with over a decade of experience in the tech and start-up ecosystem. Throughout her career, she’s built people-centered strategy that operates in lock-step with business objectives at Portland-based tech successes, including Jama Software and Puppet, as well as other early and mid-stage startups through her consultancy. With her deeply held belief that people are the most critical element of a business’s success, Morgan helps organizations get from where they are today to where they want to be in the future.
Tam brings a wealth of experience and proven track record of driving success in sales management, operations, engineering, and channel strategy. With a diverse background encompassing security, SaaS, managed services, and startups, Tam is a visionary leader who has consistently delivered tangible results. His exceptional ability to foster high-performing teams through empowerment and collaboration, coupled with his expertise in creating efficient systems and processes, propels every organization he is a part of forward. In his free time, Tam enjoys keeping up with technology news, podcasts of all genres, and traveling with his family.
Bruce brings over 25 years of experience scaling venture and private equity-backed tech companies across SaaS, cloud communications, and IoT. A seasoned board leader and entrepreneur, Bruce has built multiple businesses to successful exits. He currently serves as Board Chairman of Bigleaf Networks and also sits on the boards of Cytracom and Subeca. Bruce holds a BSBA from Central Michigan and an MBA from The American University.
Jon is a General Partner at Updata Partners, bringing 20+ years of operating and investing experience in the software space. Before joining Updata, he led acquisition strategy at IBM Global Services and served as a U.S. Air Force officer. Jon also sits on the board of Washington Nationals Philanthropies and is an assistant wrestling coach. He holds a B.A. from Duke and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Joel is the founder and CEO of Rangair, focused on reliable mobile broadband for first responders. Prior to Rangair, he founded Bigleaf Networks and led its growth for over a decade, pioneering Dynamic QoS and Intelligent Load-Balancing. A self-taught network architect, Joel brings two decades of wireless and SaaS expertise to the board.
Dave brings 30+ years of leadership across SaaS and security tech. He helped scale Securonix’s cloud SIEM business from $1M to nearly $100M as COO and previously held executive roles at Alert Logic and SunGard Availability Services. Dave’s experience spans operations, engineering, and M&A across more than 25 companies, making him a key strategic advisor for Bigleaf’s growth.
Eric founded Jama Software in 2007 and served as CEO for nearly a decade, guiding the company from concept to one of the industry’s leading platforms for requirements management in regulated markets like aerospace, automotive, and medical devices. Jama was acquired for 1.2B in 2024. Before Jama, Eric led Redside Solutions, a consulting firm focused on building collaborative, user-friendly software. He joined the Bigleaf board in 2019 and now advises several technology startups while also developing a hospitality business.
