Internet optimization provider appoints two leadership experts to streamline operations
BEAVERTON, OR, February 14, 2023 — Bigleaf Networks today announced the addition of Timothy Meyer as Vice President of Transformation and Sharon Svensson as Vice President of Demand Generation. The two VPs are tasked with streamlining operations to prepare the company for rapid growth in 2023. This announcement follows a series of strategic executive leadership appointments, including Greg Davis as CEO, Lori Stout as CMO, and David Idle as CPO.
Bigleaf’s unique network optimization solution improves the performance and reliability of internet connections and business-critical cloud applications. Designed to serve the needs of busy IT professionals, Bigleaf installs in minutes and runs automatically, relieving businesses of all types and sizes of interruptive troubleshooting tasks while ensuring that critical, cloud-based applications run flawlessly over any connection, across multiple locations and with any ISP.
As Bigleaf’s VP of transformation, Meyer will be responsible for maximizing the efficiency of Bigleaf systems and processes to create a scalable and more seamless experience for the company’s employees, customers, and partners.
“I look forward to contributing to the next phase of growth at Bigleaf,” Meyer said. “2023 will bring our growing network of customers and partners into even greater focus as we look for ways to leverage our data and systems to benefit them.”
Meyer is an attorney and consultant specializing in positioning companies for growth and strategic transformation in the IT and telecom industries. Previously, Meyer was VP and Assistant General Counsel at Sungard Availability Services, a global IT services company, where he steered the firm’s software business from a legacy, on-premises model to a modern SaaS platform which was successfully spun off to a PE firm.
Svensson is a seasoned marketing professional with 25 years of leadership experience in strategic B2B marketing. She most recently led demand generation for SaaS-based restaurant technology platforms PAR, Punchh, and HungerRush. Svensson also has 15 years of experience in internet security, including firewall, anti-virus and identity and access management.
“Having worked with countless IT professionals throughout my career, I empathize with the challenges they face in 2023,” Svensson said. “Resources, budgets, and timelines continue to shrink as digital transformation becomes even more urgent,” she continued. “I look forward to connecting IT teams across the globe with Bigleaf to ensure stress-free internet traffic performance and fewer headaches.”
“We couldn’t be happier to welcome Sharon and Tim to Bigleaf during this exciting time in our company’s growth,” said Davis. “We know that Bigleaf’s simple, plug-and-play installation and operation will change the way countless organizations conduct business in 2023 and beyond,” he added. “Sharon and Tim will be integral to Bigleaf’s continued alignment with the changing needs of our customers and partners.”
