Jim Basar is the VP of Enterprise Business Group at Intwine Connect, LLC, where he leads sales strategy for some of the world’s largest QSR and franchise restaurant chains.
At Intwine Connect, Jim helps franchise organizations navigate the shift to connected kitchen operations and cloud-based systems. His work focuses on building resilient connectivity solutions that support everything from POS systems to IoT sensors across thousands of distributed restaurant locations.
Jim has a unique background that combines technical depth with sales leadership. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics from Case Western Reserve University, where his graduate program focused on physics entrepreneurship and bringing high technology to market. He joined Intwine Connect as an intern 15 years ago and became one of the company’s first employees. Over the years, he has held roles in engineering, product management, and sales, developing IoT gateways and sensor systems before moving into his current sales leadership position.
