NOTE: If Bigleaf Wireless Connect is built into your Bigleaf router (and thus you do not have a separate wireless device) please skip to step 2.
Because the device uses cellular service, be sure to place it in an area where it can access a cellular signal, such as an elevated location close to window and away from metal structures and thick (concrete) walls.
Important: If for some reason the Teltonika router is not working or is having issues with configuration, please DO NOT factory reset the device. Contact Bigleaf Support for assistance (888 244 3133) Ext 1.
Please contact Bigleaf Support so that we can confirm available wireless speeds at your location and make adjustments to circuit speed settings (if needed). For Bigleaf’s QoS prioritization, intelligent load-balancing, and seamless failover functions to work properly, the site circuit speeds in the Bigleaf Cloud Connect Dashboard should be set as close as possible to actual wireless speeds available at your location.
For sites where you are bringing your own SIM to use with the BLR Edge 800W router, simply insert your own SIM into a SIM slot. The SIM slots are located behind a panel as pictured in Fig. 1. Use a small screwdriver to open.
Insert your SIM into slot 1 (circuit board facing up) or slot 2 (circuit board facing down). As shown in Fig. 2, the bottom right slot is slot 1 and the the top right slot is slot 2.
As needed, complete the 5G setup process by configuring the WAN circuit and any SIM or carrier APN settings in the Bigleaf Cloud Connect Dashboard’s configuration page or call the Bigleaf support team to assist with the process
Important:
Electricity can damage SIM cards easily, please ensure you are properly grounded, if possible; preferably with an anti-static mat while inserting or removing a SIM and that the device is powered off during this process.
