Bigleaf Networks Unlocks Self Provisioning for Partners
BEAVERTON, OR, December 12, 2019 — Bigleaf Networks today launched a new self-provisioning feature that makes it easier for the company’s growing network of channel partners to deploy the company’s cloud-enabling SD-WAN service.
Bigleaf Partner Provisioning was built for Bigleaf partners who routinely carry inventory for immediate customer deployment — allowing them to deploy and manage Bigleaf service and equipment without Bigleaf’s involvement. To enable this, the company upgraded its web dashboard and permissions systems to let its channel partners add users and control the service without requiring a call to Bigleaf first.
“Before releasing partner provisioning, Bigleaf would perform the whole provisioning process, shipping equipment out to customers that was fully ready to be plugged in and immediately used,” said Joel Mulkey, founder and CEO at Bigleaf. “We do a great job of this and can ship equipment out very quickly, however we also work hard to be responsive to our partners. So when our MSP partners told us that they wanted an SD-WAN solution they could deploy and manage on-demand without involving our team, we built out a new partner-provisioning process to make their lives easier.”
The new feature empowers partners like MSPs, resellers, and integrators to deploy Bigleaf’s service at any time without contacting Bigleaf, and gives them real-time control to make configuration changes on the fly. This announcement deepens Bigleaf’s commitment to MSPs and the strategic direction it’s taken to build the MSP channel into a bigger part of its business by making its flagship Bigleaf SD-WAN product into a low-effort profit generator for its channel partners.
